WBBR on Simple Portable
Over the past week or so, I have been hearing WBBR after midnight UTC on 1130 kHz. Reception on the most basic AM radio (a Sony inherited from my mother) shows how good transatlantic DX has been this winter so far.

RTL on Longwave
Hearing RTL Luxembourg - 234 kHz- in French all night for past two nights. While some French-language targeted broadcasts on LW have closed, not RTL. Content was news, entertainment,plenty of advertizing. Signal had regular long fades.

Great Asia-Pacific DX via Swedish Online SDR
The SDR is run by sm2byc . Its greatest strengths? 1. Excellent Medium Wave antennas that can be switched by the users, some along a north-south and some on an east-west orientation, and 2. a VERY quiet site with only occasional noise.#
To give some examples:
Today, December 17, 2018, 0815-0915 UTC
New Zealand: 6 MHz ATC from Auckland
Canada: AM from Vancouver in Chinese on 1320, near local quality
Newfoundland on HF 6160 with old Media Network replays (presumed Newfoundland)
United States: KBOI 670 AM from Idaho
KOMO Seattle on 1000 kHz AM
San Francisco ATC on 6655 and, new for me, 5547.
WWV on 2500 kHz and female WWVH on 5000 kHz.
Japan: NHK domestics on 594 and 747 AM, the latter very good
Radio Nikkei on usual 6055 but also on much rarer 3925.
NHK on 9750, near local.
Korea: KBS presumed in Japanese on 6155. KBS on 7275, booming in
KBS Korean on 15160
